I didn't use this as garage door weather stripping, but did use it in an outdoor location. The foam is quite tough, and hasn't shown any signs of problems after months of use. It has good flexibility and compressibility, without losing its shape. The next time I need to insulate an exterior door, I'll order one of these and apply it upside down (so the top and bottom edge are pushing down against the door frame). This is definitely a higher quality of foam than what is usually sold for window and door insulation. If I had a garage with a door that raises, I'd definitely use this product there as well.
